Biography
Salmon’s Meat Products dates back to the early 1900’s when George Kohlbeck founded Kohlbeck Meat Market in Luxemburg. George’s grandson, Leo Salmon, worked for George and decided to form a new company with cousin, Don Barbiaux named Hwy 29 Sausage Co. In the mid 1960’s, Leo started Salmon’s Meats in Luxemburg. Sons, Gary and Glenn joined the firm in 1975 carrying on the family tradition. On March 30, 2020, the Randy and Renee Ebert family, seventh generation farmers from Algoma, Wis., acquired Salmon’s Meat Products and will humbly carry on the traditions set by third generation meat processors, the families of Gary and Glenn Salmon, Luxemburg, Wis.
Salmon’s Meat Products specializes in smoked and fresh sausage for wholesale and retail sales. Salmon’s most notable product is their famous Natural Casing Wiener. Other notable products include: Double Smoked Bacon, Beef Sticks, Brats, Ring Bologna, Country Smoked Ham, Summer Sausage, Seasoned Raw Beef, Pork Sausage Links, Belgian Tripp, Potato Sausage, Polish Sausage, Beef Jerky, Smoked Turkey Strips, and many more. Salmon’s Meats also processes your boneless venison into many of our fine products!
