Santa’s Visit – 2023

Children were delighted to visit with Santa Claus and his wife when the pair visited the Luxemburg Community Center on the evening of Friday, December 1st. About 250 children and their families visited, with Mrs. Claus delighting with her balloon animal skills and Santa listening diligently to each child’s wishes for this Christmas.

Chamber volunteers decorated the gymnasium, adorning the trees behind Santa with vintage lights and modern, shatterproof ornaments. They also made sure the cocoa was hot and the cookies were fresh for the record breaking crowd.

Officers from the Luxemburg Police Department were on hand to offer candy canes and stickers, as well as monitor the table where children were invited to color pictures for Santa.

All told, families donated about 8 heavy boxes full of nonperishable food that was brought to Marv Bins Food Pantry in Casco by the Chamber.
